Budtender Review

“This pre-roll offers a light smooth smoke with a slightly floral profile. The inhale is easy and pleasant and it burns perfectly from start to finish. The effects come on strong in the head with a noticeable body high that leans more toward an indica hybrid than a sativa. While it does have some uplifting notes, the overall experience is quite relaxing—borderline couch-lock…”

First Impressions

The name alone—Pomelo Skunk—evokes something tangy, loud, and intriguing. Brought to us by Victoria Cannabis Company, this sativa-dominant hybrid is a cross between Rockstar and Citrique, two well-known cultivars with potent reputations. Part of our craft cannabis collection, this pre-roll hints at something bold yet refined.

On first whiff, the nose delivers a soft floral impression rather than an aggressively citrus-forward aroma. It’s subtler than the name suggests, which might pleasantly surprise those looking for something mellow in the terpene department.

How It Hits

Spark it up, and you’re immediately greeted by a smooth, easy inhale—no harshness, no scratchiness. The burn is consistent, a slow and even pull that shows off its quality rolling and moisture content. The flavour leans more floral than skunky or citrus, with a whisper of herbal sweetness as it lingers on the palate.

Despite being marketed as a sativa-dominant hybrid, the effects tell a different story. The high sets in quickly with a gentle cerebral buzz but rapidly drifts into a strong body high, grounding the experience and pushing it closer to the indica end of the hybrid spectrum. It’s the kind of high that melts you into the couch and softens the edges of a long day. Ideal for evening sessions or wind-down moments.

What Others Are Saying

While the cultivar suggests something zesty and upbeat, general feedback frames this pre-roll as more of a relaxing hybrid with a floral lean, rather than a mood-elevating citrus bomb.

Our Take

We’re inclined to agree. Pomelo Skunk walks the line between energizing and calming but ultimately dips into the chill zone. It may carry sativa genetics, but the experience speaks more to end-of-day decompression than daytime hustle. The floral profile is unexpectedly soft and elegant—definitely not your average “Skunk.”

Final Word

For anyone who enjoys a gentle, balanced hybrid that won’t knock your socks off in flavour but will ease you into comfort, Pomelo Skunk is worth rolling with. Curious about what else Victoria Cannabis Company has to offer? Check out their brand page for more.
