Slurricane Mint: Strain Review By Budtender Carly

Grown in Quebec by Plantations Cérès Inc., and distributed by @vortexcannabis under the Space Craft Flower brand, I finally gave it a try after passing it up a few times before.

I was a bit disappointed when I opened it. A muted mix of pine, damp earth and sage plus a hint of cheesy funkiness when you really sink your nose in the jar.

The buds were decent…no popcorn, but all on the smaller side. They were fluffy, but still dense, and not dry at all, even with no humidity pack included.

The flavour was more pleasant than the smell, and the best way I can describe it would be similar to the fuzzy skin of a peach. It was pretty smooth too, with the ash burning to a light grey, but not quite white.

This strain is listed as an indica-dominant hybrid, however, I found it was more of an even 50/50 split. I loved the relaxing effects that first hit. It mellowed me out almost instantly, and gradually the more uplifting effects followed. Relaxed, happy and eager to chat, it was a wonderful high, it reminded me a bit of Romulan.

If you’re looking for legal cannabis that’s going to knock you out and leave you drooling on the couch, this is not it.

However, if you have plans to see a movie or ride some roller coasters or go to a concert, or get lost in a video game then I recommend trying this one out.
