Budtender Review

THC: 30.1%

Type: Hybrid (Sativa leaning)

Total Terpenes: 3.75%

Primary Terpenes: Caryophyllene, Limonene, Humulene

Just finished trying the “Son of a Peach” 1g pre-roll from Terp Town Collective. I believe it’s (Permanent Marker x Gorilla Piss) cross.

The sweet and citrusy flavour really stands out, likely thanks to the limonene and caryophyllene combo. The pre-roll was well-rolled and burned evenly from start to finish.

The high was strong but smooth & uplifting with a nice body relaxation that didn’t feel too heavy. I’d rate this a 7.5/10 overall. Solid choice for anyone who enjoys flavour forward strains with a bit of punch. I just prefer Indica personally!”

First Impressions

If the name doesn’t hook you, the gassy-sweet aroma certainly will. Son of a Peach, a 1x1g pre-roll from Terp Town, brings a high-potency punch at 30% THC with 3.7% total terpenes. The genetics? A bold cross between Gorilla P and Permanent Marker, both cultivars known for their complex terpene profiles and heavy-hitting effects.

This one lands in our pre-rolls collection, and it shows promise right from the container. The dry pull tastes as good as it smells—sweet, sticky, and skunky in a way that hints at what’s to come.

How It Hits

Lighting up, things start off rocky: canoeing issues plague the first half of the joint, and even after correcting, the last quarter clogs, making the final puffs a struggle. If you’re picky about performance, this roll might test your patience.

That said, once combustion gets going, the effects hit fast—within a few puffs, there’s noticeable body relaxation and heavy eyelids, leaning into indica territory. The high is potent and well-suited for nighttime or post-stress relief. It’s just unfortunate that the smoking experience didn’t match the quality of the flower inside.

What Others Are Saying

While Terp Town’s Son of a Peach is praised for its flavour and potency, inconsistent combustion seems to be a recurring drawback in pre-roll form.

Our Take

We’d love to try this cultivar as loose flower. The terp and THC numbers speak for themselves, and the flavour is on point. But the pre-roll? It just doesn’t deliver the full experience. If you’re after effect-driven cannabis and don’t mind working around a less-than-perfect burn, it’s still worth a look.

Final Word

Son of a Peach has true fire potential, but it’s held back by its format. If Terp Town ever drops this as a whole flower SKU, we’ll be first in line to try it again. Until then, know that the high is legit, even if the smoke isn’t seamless.
